    Bought these as cheap agar plates. They are PP5 plastic, and can be sterilized in a 15 psi pressure cooker which allows pre-pouring agar for less chance of contamination. I've already grown Oyster and Shitake mushroom mycelium using these containers, so they work. You have to select the frosted round SCREW TOP verion, dont get the "clear" flip top for agar work.
