    These work great, but are too big for delicate work. You will need something smaller for delicate work. These work great for doing something the size of a coin (half dollar, an older quarter, etc). These are not shiny, they are stainless steel, NOT silver, not shiny, but not dull either, they are as it says STAINLESS STEEL.

    Worked perfect for the intended use. No issues with size. Have been able to use with several sizes and types of necklace chains. ( note the use of tools i.e. Pliers are needed to open and close) this is a charteristic I was looking for. So again perfect for intended use.
